Sandwich(ed)

Are you tired of the oh-so-typical PB&J?  Ham and cheese just won't do anymore?  Don't even get me started on turkey, too boring.  I think I have the perfect solution to all of your problems!  (Okay, maybe just your lunch problems.)

I've been wanting to share this recipe for quite some time, it's a particular favorite.  We only recently rediscovered this one, when celebrating my birthday with a little tea-party.  What is it, you may be wondering?  Perhaps the most wonderful bite to eat that ever walked the earth (...uhm?).  A cinnamon bread, ham, cream cheese, and pineapple sandwich!  Yes, I know it sounds a little odd at first, but trust me, it's delicious.

Ingredients

Cinnamon roll bread (you can make your own using this recipe, or you can use store-bought cinnamon bread)
Crushed pineapple (canned)
Sliced ham
Cream cheese

Make sure you strain the juice from the crushed pineapple, or else you'll have a little bit more of a mess than you would have hoped (it gets kinda sticky).  I like to mix the cream cheese and pineapple together in a bowl before putting it on the bread, it makes it less drippy.  Other than that, pile everything between those two yummy slices of bread and enjoy!

I hope this little recipe helps you out of the boring sandwich rut - a terrible place to be ;).

Hugs,
Mary Grace
